Day 6 of Advent... it's EGG-Cellent!

Was it hard to find us?

Hope Mom wasn't mad that we drew on her eggs!
We were having so much fun, but it's a tad bit chilly in here!

You both have been so good this week! Our magic is filling up!

Keep on with your acts of kindness!

4th Day of Advent!

Happy 4th Day of Advent!

We decided that we would venture upstairs! Luke found some ribbon and decided to decorate, that bathroom is a little boring!

Did you see the snow outside this morning? I bet this year we will get a LOT of snow!

Well, we are in a bit of a rush, so continue to be kind, continue to look out for each other, and continue to do amazing acts of kindness!

3rd Day of Advent! HOPE

So, where do we even begin?
The most important? This is the FIRST Sunday of Advent!
Today's candle represents HOPE. We will light the first Purple candle today.

Today's scripture verse reads :

"And behold, thou shalt...bring forth a son, and shalt call his name, Jesus" Luke 1:31

Yesterday, we were in shock by how kind you are to your family. We couldn't believe that both of you went shopping, and picked out presents for your family members from your hearts. That's what Christmas is all about. Showing your love for those who mean the most, and reminding them of how much they mean to you.

We think we have the best kids in the world, and we are not just saying that because you're ours. But it's the truth. You both spend so much time thinking of ways to make others happy, creating crafts for people who are sad, and always coming up with little ways to remind Mom and Dad how much you love them.

Yes, you both can get crazy and rowdy, but, we are so very blessed to have you both as our Elfkins. (That means you are the Kids of us Elves!)

We snuck a peek yesterday while you were doing your gingerbread houses... and Mom is VERY smart to have covered them because there is no way we could have resisted eating them!!! There is every favorite candy of an elf on there. YUM!

And those cookies you both created with Mom? Unbelievable. I think you will be able to help mom with her cookie business before we know it!

Make sure to light your candle and say your prayers with your parents today! It's such a special time!

Happy 2nd Day of Advent!

It's already the 2nd day of Advent!

We saw Mom left a bag of marshmallows on the counter while she was cleaning, were those for us? Sorry if they weren't but, we Elves can not resist marshmallows!!

Today's scripture verse is very special:
"The angel said unto her...'Fear not Mary, for you have found favor with God," Luke 1:30

By any chance, is that green thing that Mommy talks on her phone? We keep seeing her leave it behind and we don't know why. I hope there isn't a video camera on there...

I hear Daddy climbed the roof to hand up the 12 foot star he made? Wow. I can't believe he made his own "North Star". You are very lucky to have such a handy Dad... and Mom!

Well, continue to be kind to one another. Remember, Family means everything!

See you tomorrow!

Happy First Day Of Advent!

Happy First Day Of Advent!

"The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto...Nazareth, to a Virgin..." Luke 26-27

We get to light our first Advent candle this Sunday! Are you excited? As the days go on, your scripture reading will begin to tell the story of the Birth of Jesus, and we can't wait!

You both have been so kind to one another lately. Especially when you were helping Mommy set the table without her asking. We thought that was pretty great. You know Mom loves when you help her, right? Sometimes, (and we're just saying this because it's something we saw during training) the more help you give your Mom without complaining, the more cookies she let's you have later in the day. Shhh... don't tell her we told you that!

We will see you tomorrow!

It's almost Advent!

So, let's talk for a minute...
You both have been so good this week. We are so luck to have you as our kids!!
We hung up our advent wreaths, i hope that's okay.

Dean, we are so proud of all the extra work you've been doing with Mom! Your reading is getting faster too!
Dylan, I know yesterday was a very hard day for you. No one likes to get a needle. But did you know, we had to get the same shot in order to come to your house? Yup.
Luke cried a little, but he knew he needed to have it done. Next time, just hold Mommy tight!
Also, I'm so proud of your Donation to St.Jude after getting a you fit you AND Dean yesterday. We got a call that the bells were rung for you in the store and couldn't believe it!
Remember... Christmas is about Family and Friends, not presents :)
Well, we were in such a wonderful mood after you both have us so much kindness magic yesterday, and we found these out in your playroom.

H E L L O!
Ps- beautiful job working together on the 4x4 lego set! It's sooo cool!

Keep up the kindness guys!
Dylan! So many people are loving your coloring page! Leave a copy for us to bring St.Nicholas!
And Dean, you've been so kind to Dylan lately when no one is watching. We are so proud of your patience!

Leo and Luke

Good Morning Dean and Dylan!

Well, We got some awesome magic from all the kindness you both showed your Mom and Dad.

Dylan, you helped your Daddy so nicely yesterday while he was working on the beam! You made his job so much easier, just by finding the screws each time he needed one. Saint Nicholas was so proud of you telling the truth when you made a mistake, and when you did something wrong, too.

Dean, you were so kind to your brother with your special secret project outside. And your idea to surprise your neighbors with acts of kindness, I love it!

So, We got a little bored since you all headed to bed so early, and started to work on our crossword puzzle. Luke was having a little bit of trouble, so I helped him out. That's what big brother's do!

We printed you out one, so that you both can work together!

In three days, you will get your daily scripture reading! Are you excited? And we will also give you a joke to tell your class every day  until Christmas too.

Do you know what season starts Sunday?
That's right! Advent! We heard mommy this morning quizzing you both on the colors of the candles, and we were so happy you both could answer.

Tell Mom to get ready for her Advent wreath, because we are so excited that we will be a part of it this year :)

Did you know that there are 4 main candles? Mommy put's the White candle, the fifth candle, in the center to represent who?

Candle one (purple) represents hope. It is often called the prophets’ candle.
Candle two (purple) represents peace. It is often called the angels’ candle.
Candle three (pink) represents joy. It is often called the shepherds’ candle.
Candle four (purple) represents love. It is often called the Bethlehem candle.

I know Mommy has some really nice books she will be taking out this week too, so be sure to let us know everything you learn so we can go back and let the big guy know you're listening!

Love and Sprinkles,
Leo and Luke

Dear Dean and Dylan,

Unfortunately, by the time our nightly meeting with Santa came, we lost all the magic needed to fly back to you guys for today.
Luke is very sad, and St.Nicholas said he is very concerned that we will not get back to you before the season of Advent begins.

Dean, we can see you trying your best, and want you to know that we are very proud of you. Please continue to be kind, listen to your Mom and Dad, and please, don't talk back to Mom.

Dylan. When Mommy tells you not to do something, please listen the first time. She only wants you to be a good boy.
I will not be able to come back with Leo tomorrow, as my magic today is not filled enough. Leo has enough magic. I do not :(

Well, December 1st is when we get enough magic to be able to do a bunch of kind things for you both, as long as you do kind things for each other.

PS- WE CAN NOT WAIT to see your trees!!! We watched yesterday as you guys put them up and were so sad we were not there to see it...

Saturday, November 25, 2017

Well, we are back for the 2017 year, and we can not wait!
Dylan is such a big boy now, and we are trying to find your acts of kindness every day.

Dean, although yesterday you thought we weren't watching, when you boys snuck downstairs to see our North Pole breakfast, we noticed your act of kindness while walking up the stairs to wake Mommy and Daddy up.

You let Dylan walk in front of you, and when he tripped, straight away you asked if he was okay. That was so kind.

So, remember, December 1st starts the season of Advent. And if you are kind, and listen to Mom and Dad, you will have the best season ever.

Dylan, Santa almost didn't let Luke come back with me because you threw dirt into your brothers face. That was not nice at all. You have to learn to talk, and stay calm. Your feelings are very important and we want you to start workingthis week on being CALM. We know you can do it, and Mommy can help!

See you tomorrow! Don't forget to do Random Acts of Kindness, Listen to Mom and Dad, and be kind to one another!

Love and Sprinkles,
Luke and Leo
