One more day.... Feeling the blues

Hi Dean,

So, we really had such a wonderful time at your home. Your family is so kind and generous and we loved being able to watch you do crafts and do all these beautiful things for others.

We decided we would build you a special tree, although it doesn't look like the kind of tree you are used to, here at the North Pole, us elves make everything using candy, gumdrops, ice cream... Well... You get the idea.

So we decided to leave you and Elf tree. This way, you can always remember us and every year that we come back you can put out our tree, and our fire place and stockings, since we are part of your family!

Tonight is my last night here, Luke's too. Tomorrow, when Saint Nicholas comes to bring your toys, he collects all the elves as he arrives, so we won't be there on Christmas Day. But don't be sad. Just remember to write us. Check our blog we will be posting some fun things soon, We promise.

Well, enjoy your day before Christmas Eve! Help mommy with Dylan, and we will see you tomorrow!

Kisses and gumdrops,

Leo

2 days until Christmas!

So today is your big baking day! You and Mommy are going to be making everything you need for Christmas right? You must be so excited!

We almost forgot to leave you the key for Saint Nicholas to get in!

We were looking around your room and realized just hot awesome your side is! It's almost like you are under the sea!

Luke had so much fun using your Captains wheel, and Duffy was so nice to us!

Don't forget to put the key outside so Saint Nicholas will be able to get in!

I can't believe we will be going home soon though. I'm kind of bummed.... But there is always next year!

4 days to go! Wow!

There is so much to do, and we are so hyper from all our Elf sugar foods, and we couldn't stop!

Had to do something fun, didn't know what to do...

And then we saw you left your blocks. How cool is that? Peppermint cool. No, no, mint peppermint cool!

But you know what isn't cool? Getting attacked by Spiderman. He thought we were thieves trying to steal your blocks, the Ninja turtles were throwing pizza at us... It was crazy. I can't believe you didn't wake up!

We know you had Gigi over today too, did you have fun? And you thanked God that Papa brought you fruit and your cloud bread, that was so nice of him Dean.

And you finished your last batch of cookie dough. Wow. Those are going to be a lot of cookies huh?

Can't wait to try some, don't forget to leave some for us Elves too!

7 days left! We went on a mission!

Hi!
See that little bean? Well, we searched alllllll over for it so that you can plant it.

But there's a catch!
In order to make it grow, you must be kind. Do good things for others. Listen to Mommy and Daddy and you must look out for your brother!

No temper tantrums either , please , because the only way you can feed this bean is with love and kindness. No water, no plant food, just being good!

That little wagon is yours also , since you have that picture you love of you and Dylan we found one for your tree!
Also, We caught you reading to Dylan earlier, and snapped this picture of you guys, you are such an amazing big brother!

See you soon!

It's the most wonderful thing...11 days until Christmas!

Hi Dean!
We loved the Christmas episode of Veggie tales today!
And it was so nice of you to want to bake everyone gifts this year for Christmas,
Saint Nicholas will be so proud of your time being spent to make others smile, especially Jesus!
Remember, always do kind deeds, and do them from your heart!
So, we keep hearing Mommy say you have to drink more during the day...
We saw you helped Mommy today by feeding Dylan his Christmas bottle, So, we made you a very special Christmas Cup! You won't be able to spill this one! Fill it with water all day !

Isn't he cute? Kind of looks like our cousin Charlie.

Well, you were really awesome today. Listened to Mommy. Helped clean up... had Gigi clean up, ate your dinner, asked for more fruit for dessert... and were awesome for Daddy. I would say that is AMAZING! And when it came time for story time and prayers, your prayer to find money to buy socks for the soldiers was just beautiful. You must have thought about that a lot.

Keep it up! There is always room on the nice list as long as you are greatful for all the things you have, and you treat others like you would like to be treated.

P.s. You are getting soooo good at doing the signs of the cross!
Would you like to learn out favorite prayer tonight?

12 Days until Christmas!

Dean,
Yesterday was going to wonderful.
You helped Mommy with Dylan.
You helped Mommy clean the floor.
You cleaned your toys, and took your bath. We even went to see all the Christmas lights.

You said your prayers, and then when it was time for bed... three hours later you were up, waking up Dylan, complaining, being cranky. What happened?

Leo and I were so confused Dean. You just wouldn't go to sleep.

Once you finally fell asleep, we decided to try to do something constructive. So we fixed your treasure box. Hope you don't mind, but we didnt know what else to do since you were kind of silly willywonkahead yesterday.

Listen to Mommy, go to bed on time, and we have enough days to pull through a few more surprises... Okay?

Leo and Luke

We needed a little break! 13 days left

Hey,
We heard you say the following quote and we thought it was beautiful
"Mommy sometimes when I see these things, or beautiful things my eyes fill with tears. I think that's because God can see it too"
That was so beautiful Dean, and you are right.
He can see and feel and hear everything that you can.
He is always there, along with the spirit of Saint Nicholas!

So, today...
We were up on that painting so long we were exhausted.

So,we decided we needed a little break. We headed to the Bahamas for a little and then came back here to relax.

What did you think of our Sand Snowman! He was a lot of fun to build!

Enjoy the Beach plaque!

Oh No, 14 days left... and you've been naughty!

Dean
We had to tell Saint Nicholas how much you didn't listen to Mommy tonight during bed time. We told him it wasn't like you to act that way, and we know you weren't feeling too great... but please, you have to promise tonight to listen to Mommy and always say your prayers! Many people deserve those prayers you send.

Just to be sure you are acting right, and being polite, we are going to stay in Mommy's room to watch you all day...

Please don't let us send another naughty list to St.Nick!!

Reading time! 15 days!

Who wants to join us!

We love reading. We loved the books you have Dean! The Little Prince! Duffy the Disney Bear! Oh The Places You'll Go! WOW these are amazing!

We spread some Elf dust and your stuffed animals came to listen. A lot of them were falling asleep so we sent them to bed, but before you know it, Daddy woke up and we froze!

Hope you weren't too upset with the crowd!

Well, Be good for Mommy!

We got caught! 16 days till Christmas!

Dean, did you and Mommy try to capture us last night? Because all of a sudden we saw the video camera on your chair and, well, it was flashing red!

Well, anyway... We did a bunch of cleaning from all the glitter we left behind yesterday! Thank you so much for hanging our stockings up by our Elf fireplace! They look lovely... And we feel so welcome in your home. We are so blessed to be with your family!

So, Saint Nicholas said that you went to visit him today, and that you brought him a special card to say thank you for doing so much work? Wow, that's pretty awesome! No one ever does that, they always just ask and ask for things. He really felt special!
Did he give you that magic spin top? You know we helped him make those !

We saw you and Daddy started decorating outside too! That's so Awesome!

Well, we are super taffy tired today, hope it's okay we pitched a tent and camped out for a little! You don't mind right?

Everything is better with glitter! 17 Days!!

Happy 17 Days until Christmas!

I wanted to say thank you to your Mommy for the awesome Elf fireplace she put on the shelf! We've never had one before!

And since this is the first time we have our own fireplace, I was thinking we should have our own stockings!! YES!

So, we kind of went through your Mommys crafts and whipped up two stockings! They say our names, Leo and Luke! Do you like them?

So, can you hang them under the fireplace for us? Wouldn't that be Marshmallowesome!?

You were really great today by the way! Helping Mommy give Dylan a bath, helping Daddy sweep, helping Daddy work on the stairs. Wow, you're a busy helper! You should be an elf!

Can't wait to see our stockings hung!

We are going to visit our friend tonight, maybe we can post some pictures later of what he is up to!

One Fish, Two Fish!

Hi Dean!

18 Days until Christmas!

I heard you went to see Frozen last night with Mommy and Daddy! That is so awesome! I wish I could have went!

So  I decided that I would teach Luke to fish!
I heard you love fishing with your daddy, and one day you caught a dirty can? Eww!

So, here we were flying around and I found the perfect fishing spot! What do you think?

The only fishing we have on the North Pole is ice fishing... And the fish are usually frozen ha!

These taste much much better!

See you soon!
