Day 6 of Advent... it's EGG-Cellent!

Was it hard to find us?

Hope Mom wasn't mad that we drew on her eggs!
We were having so much fun, but it's a tad bit chilly in here!

You both have been so good this week! Our magic is filling up!

Keep on with your acts of kindness!

4th Day of Advent!

Happy 4th Day of Advent!

We decided that we would venture upstairs! Luke found some ribbon and decided to decorate, that bathroom is a little boring!

Did you see the snow outside this morning? I bet this year we will get a LOT of snow!

Well, we are in a bit of a rush, so continue to be kind, continue to look out for each other, and continue to do amazing acts of kindness!

3rd Day of Advent! HOPE

So, where do we even begin?
The most important? This is the FIRST Sunday of Advent!
Today's candle represents HOPE. We will light the first Purple candle today.

Today's scripture verse reads :

"And behold, thou shalt...bring forth a son, and shalt call his name, Jesus" Luke 1:31

Yesterday, we were in shock by how kind you are to your family. We couldn't believe that both of you went shopping, and picked out presents for your family members from your hearts. That's what Christmas is all about. Showing your love for those who mean the most, and reminding them of how much they mean to you.

We think we have the best kids in the world, and we are not just saying that because you're ours. But it's the truth. You both spend so much time thinking of ways to make others happy, creating crafts for people who are sad, and always coming up with little ways to remind Mom and Dad how much you love them.

Yes, you both can get crazy and rowdy, but, we are so very blessed to have you both as our Elfkins. (That means you are the Kids of us Elves!)

We snuck a peek yesterday while you were doing your gingerbread houses... and Mom is VERY smart to have covered them because there is no way we could have resisted eating them!!! There is every favorite candy of an elf on there. YUM!

And those cookies you both created with Mom? Unbelievable. I think you will be able to help mom with her cookie business before we know it!

Make sure to light your candle and say your prayers with your parents today! It's such a special time!

Happy 2nd Day of Advent!

It's already the 2nd day of Advent!

We saw Mom left a bag of marshmallows on the counter while she was cleaning, were those for us? Sorry if they weren't but, we Elves can not resist marshmallows!!

Today's scripture verse is very special:
"The angel said unto her...'Fear not Mary, for you have found favor with God," Luke 1:30

By any chance, is that green thing that Mommy talks on her phone? We keep seeing her leave it behind and we don't know why. I hope there isn't a video camera on there...

I hear Daddy climbed the roof to hand up the 12 foot star he made? Wow. I can't believe he made his own "North Star". You are very lucky to have such a handy Dad... and Mom!

Well, continue to be kind to one another. Remember, Family means everything!

See you tomorrow!

Happy First Day Of Advent!

Happy First Day Of Advent!

"The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto...Nazareth, to a Virgin..." Luke 26-27

We get to light our first Advent candle this Sunday! Are you excited? As the days go on, your scripture reading will begin to tell the story of the Birth of Jesus, and we can't wait!

You both have been so kind to one another lately. Especially when you were helping Mommy set the table without her asking. We thought that was pretty great. You know Mom loves when you help her, right? Sometimes, (and we're just saying this because it's something we saw during training) the more help you give your Mom without complaining, the more cookies she let's you have later in the day. Shhh... don't tell her we told you that!

We will see you tomorrow!
