Good Morning Dean and Dylan!
Well, We got some awesome magic from all the kindness you both showed your Mom and Dad.
Dylan, you helped your Daddy so nicely yesterday while he was working on the beam! You made his job so much easier, just by finding the screws each time he needed one. Saint Nicholas was so proud of you telling the truth when you made a mistake, and when you did something wrong, too.
Dean, you were so kind to your brother with your special secret project outside. And your idea to surprise your neighbors with acts of kindness, I love it!
So, We got a little bored since you all headed to bed so early, and started to work on our crossword puzzle. Luke was having a little bit of trouble, so I helped him out. That's what big brother's do!
We printed you out one, so that you both can work together!
In three days, you will get your daily scripture reading! Are you excited? And we will also give you a joke to tell your class every day until Christmas too.
Do you know what season starts Sunday?
That's right! Advent! We heard mommy this morning quizzing you both on the colors of the candles, and we were so happy you both could answer.
Tell Mom to get ready for her Advent wreath, because we are so excited that we will be a part of it this year :)
Did you know that there are 4 main candles? Mommy put's the White candle, the fifth candle, in the center to represent who?
Candle one (purple) represents hope. It is often called the prophets’ candle.
Candle two (purple) represents peace. It is often called the angels’ candle.
Candle three (pink) represents joy. It is often called the shepherds’ candle.
Candle four (purple) represents love. It is often called the Bethlehem candle.
I know Mommy has some really nice books she will be taking out this week too, so be sure to let us know everything you learn so we can go back and let the big guy know you're listening!
Love and Sprinkles,
Leo and Luke
